Although you鈥檙e not far from home, starting college as a commuter is an adjustment. Learning to navigate the campus, acclimate to class schedules, and make new friends will all take time, but remember there are many resources available to help you along the way. Explore the for everything you need to know regarding commuter life at Loyola!
- If you are , stop by the Loyola University Police Department to register your bike and purchase a lock.听
- Purchase your online through Loyola Parking Services. Your license plate will be used as your permit to park on campus, so you won鈥檛 need to pick up a physical permit.听

We look forward to meeting you at Wolf Pack Welcome on August 21-23! This event is mandatory for all on-ground students, including commuters. We will have a special Commuter Student Welcome Reception on Friday, August 21 at 8 p.m. for you to get to know your fellow commuter students. Keep in mind that all events on campus require social distancing and face coverings to help protect our community. However, if you would like to be excused due to COVID related concerns, please email orientation@loyno.edu听

Resources for Life on the Go听
Commuter Assistants: Your CA will act as a guide for you throughout your time here as a commuter. You will meet your CA during Wolf Pack Welcome, and if you ever have any questions, concerns, or just need general information, CAs will be your initial resource for answers. They know what it鈥檚 like to be a commuter and can share their knowledge with you! The CA office is located inside of Satchmo鈥檚 Lounge in the Danna Student Center.
Commuter Spaces and Places: Places like Satchmo鈥檚 Lounge and The Hub will be your home-away-from-home while you鈥檙e on campus. You can charge your phone, get some work done between classes, socialize, and just hang out.
Commuter Lockers: Lockers are available for rental in the Department of Student Life and Ministry. There is a $10 non-refundable deposit required (lockers must be renewed each year). Lockers are located in the lower level of the Danna Student Center next to Satchmo鈥檚.听
Commuter Wednesdays: Get a discounted rate on all of your meals every Wednesday in the Orleans Room (O.R.) dining hall!听
Commuter Student Association (CSA): The is a student organization designed to help create initiatives and programs geared toward commuter students. Follow CSA on , , and for additional commuter information and university updates.
