A Message from the Vice President of University Advancement��

In the immortal words of Al “Carnival Time” Johnson, "It’s Carnival time, and everybody’s havin' fun."

As we celebrated the arrival of the Three Kings on Monday of this week, it is now officially legal to enjoy your slice (or two) of king cake. And Loyola is here to help. Members of the University Advancement team are headed all over the country for our Mardi Gras Meet-Ups with king cake in tow to greet our beautiful alumni where they are.

These Mardi Gras Meet-Ups have grown over the last few years, as Loyola alumni chapters near and far have hopped on board. This year, we will have ten events, many with a Loyola team member and all with a delicious New Orleans king cake.

So I hope you will join us when we visit a city near you. President Cole and I are excited to be heading to Washington, DC, later this month. I’ll be sure to pick up a couple of delicious treats for our event. Let me know if you have any special requests!
