�������� Public Health Program, together with Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine presents a screening of “The Skin You’re In.”

The film will be shown at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, in Roussel Hall at ��������, 6363 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans 70118.  Proof of vaccination is required. All are welcome. Free parking is available in Loyola's West Road parking garage.

The documentary explores African – American Health disparities through the eyes of those affected, along with expert commentary. The problem addresses why the problem exists and what can be done to achieve health equity.

Following the screening, Dr. Thomas A. LeVeist, Dean and Weatherhead Presidential Chair in Health Equity in the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, will lead an open discussion.

Always a community partner, Loyola launched its new undergraduate public health program last spring in an effort to address local, regional and national needs, made stark by the global pandemic. Starting this fall, Loyola students are able to pursue a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Public Health; they are also able to minor in Public Health.
