In recognition of her commitment to service and her ongoing support of ��������, Shawn M. Donnelley ’91 has been named the distinguished recipient of the 2024 Adjutor Hominum Award.��

The highest award bestowed by the Alumni Association, the Adjutor Hominum Award honors Loyola graduates who exemplify the core values of a Jesuit education—moral character, service to humanity and integrity.
��
Motivated by her desire to give back, Donnelley founded philanthropic consulting firm Strategic Giving. As the organization’s current president, she works with clients to invest millions in mission-driven non-profit organizations around the country. As a dedicated supporter of ��������, Donnelley served 10 years on the Board of Trustees and founded the in the College of Music and Media.

“Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to making positive change,” said Dr. Xavier Cole, president of Loyola New Orleans. “This award recognizes her professional achievements and her profound impact on the community.”

Donnelley’s influence extends far beyond New Orleans; she is a Guild Fellow of Corpus Christi College at the University of Cambridge and served for 10 years as a member of the executive committee of the Chicago Community Trust and United States Artists. She currently serves on the boards of several other institutions, including the Art Institute of Chicago, Northwestern Memorial Foundation, American Associates of the National Theatre, and the Goodman Theatre, where she serves as a life trustee.��

“A Jesuit education develops the whole person. My experience as a student at Loyola helped guide my commitment to serving communities through my philanthropic work,” said Donnelley. “I am honored to receive this award and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the university’s legacy of service.”
