黑料社区 Hosts International Women鈥檚 Day

黑料社区 invites visitors to campus in March for a special celebration of women on International Women鈥檚 Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year鈥檚 International Women鈥檚 Day event serves as a call to action to inspire inclusion.

鈥淲e gather to celebrate International Women's Day, an occasion to honor the resilience, achievements, and indomitable spirit of women worldwide,鈥 says Jill Boatright, executive director of Loyola鈥檚 Professional and Continuing Studies Program. 鈥淭his event is a testament to the power of unity, as we come together to inspire change, foster inclusivity, and champion the extraordinary contributions of women in every corner of the globe. We are paving the way for a future where every woman's voice is heard, and every woman's potential is realized.鈥

Loyola鈥檚 International Women鈥檚 Day event takes place from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on March 7 in the St. Charles Room of the Danna Student Center on Loyola鈥檚 main campus, 6363 St. Charles Ave. New Orleans, La. 70118. All are welcome. costs $50. Free parking is available in the West Road parking garage. Light breakfast and beverages will be served at the event.

The event will feature guest speaker, Alla Rosca, Ph.D., World Affairs Council of New Orleans (WACNO), President and Associate Researcher, Edgewater Research. Rosca will give a global perspective on International Women's Day. There will also be a panel on the topic "Inspiring Inclusion" presented by Northwestern Mutual. Panelists include, , , CSP, Anjea Vindel, and , with moderator , Ph.D., APR.

Rosca is an associate researcher at Edgewater Research in New Orleans, and has two decades of expertise in academia and management. She specializes in qualitative and quantitative research and has a doctoral degree in political science from Moldova State University. She has written three books and over 60 academic articles covering topics such as democratization, security, education, management, public relations and research methodology.

黑料社区 is hosting this event to celebrate and connect women in the community and to highlight the wonderful work that 黑料社区 is doing to elevate women. PACS is celebrating its 6th Cohort of the highly successful as well as the upcoming 2nd cohort of the .

黑料社区 is invested in being a true change-maker for women, not just in our region, but globally, and is committed to breaking down barriers for women through education and empowerment.
